Factors such as the clinical condition of the mother, vitamin and mineral deficiency, lack of hygiene, sitting-standing position of the mother and fatigue after childbirth are among the factors affecting postpartum perineal pain. Perineal pain, especially during the first 3 postpartum days, negatively affects daily activities such as painful urination, constipation, restricted movement and breastfeeding, and many non-pharmacological treatments are used in its treatment. Massage, hot and cold applications have the property of relieving pain and accelerating recovery. Perineal massage, hot application and massage +hot application have been found to be effective in reducing pain and increasing postpartum comfort and satisfaction.</p>}, number={1}, journal={WORLD WOMEN STUDIES JOURNAL}, author={KARABULUT BOZAL, Şeyma}, year={2022}, month={Dec.}, pages={45–50} }
